Time spent walking with our club in the great outdoors offers the opportunity to discover new places, enjoy fresh air and take in stunning views and is also a great way of meeting new people....
These boots were made for walking.....There's no doubt about it...walking is good for you, so why not join our organised walks.
The beauty of walking not only holds a sense of freedom but also provides a chance to enjoy Britain's favourite recreational pursuit whilst also improving your health....boosting circulation and improving energy levels; it not only burns calories but also builds stamina, helps beat stress, lowers your blood pressure and can cut your risk of heart disease by up to 50%.
We are a small friendly group that walk locally at weekends, alternating Saturday then Sunday. The majority of our walks are 5 to 10 miles in distance, circular in format and walked at a relaxed pace, with time to look at the views.
We are affiliated to the Ramblers' Association and would like to encourage more people, young and old alike, to get out and about and discover the beauty of the countryside....on foot..

Walking in a group is a great way to start walking and to stay motivated. You'll make friends, discover new places to walk in your county and see places that you miss when driving in the car.
