The weekend will be offering the opportunity to enjoy some of the many delightful and varied walks available from this pleasant old West Yorkshire town situated in the Calder Valley, not far from the Pennine Way and Calderdale Way etc .
The well known Haworth area with its Bronte connections is only a relatively short car journey away together with the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.
Evening meals will be arranged at the excellent “Hare & Hounds” PH just above Hebden Bridge. A list of local B & B addresses is available from Pam and Roger, as you need to book your own accommodation.

The weekend is being organised by John Churchman and is based in Eastbourne (Sussex) staying at the Marine Parade Hotel. People are already booking their accommodation, so please come and join them.
Walks likely to be included are Beachy Head, Seven Sister's, the South Downs and the `Long Man`.

Northampton Ramblers, have been asked to help promote the following two charities on our website....
The National Kidney Federation is a charity run by kidney patients for kidney patients, in the UK there are 50,000 people receiving treatment for kidney disease, our charity looks after the welfare and needs of people with kidney disease. We get no funding from the government and rely completely on sponsorship and donations.
In 2012 we are organising a series of walking events that your members may be interested in taking part and supporting our charity, please see below ….
