Morning Walk: Meet at 10 am Farndon Fields Farm Shop, Farndon Road, Market Harborough, Postcode LE16 9NP (ample car parking). A circular walk starting and finishing at the farm shop.

The walk takes in Thorpe Lubenham Estate and view of Hall, Marston Trussell, church, and East Farndon. The walk consists of flat walking terrain and contains five stiles. Lunch will be available after the walk at Farndon Fields Restaurant.

Evening Walk: Meet at 1900 hrs at The Memorial Garden (near St Peter & St Paul Church) Church Street, Rothersthorpe, Postcode NN7 3JD. This is a gentle circular walk along the canal towpath and countryside around Rothersthorpe. The walk passes through Gayton Marina and junction, over fields and through woodland. There are no hills to climb, only a few stiles to negotiate and using a lock gate to cross over the canal. There is ample car parking space in Church Street.

Morning Walk: Meet at 10 am in The Witch and Sow, High Street, Guilsborough, Postcode NN6 8PY. (note the pub building / signage may also refer to The Ward Arms”) From the pub we will walk to Hollowell reservoir (some road walking), walking anticlockwise around the reservoir, through a wooded area (hopefully seeing many birds) to the Sailing Club where we will take a break. It will be a Club Open Day, so there will be a few boats on the water. Sailing club toilets available. Nb: Walking around the reservoir is mainly on flat ground with some rough grassy clumps in places; and some very gentle slopes. Possible damp / muddy places, depending on the weather. There are three / four gates. No stiles. Not at all strenuous. Park in the pub car park if eating / drinking after the walk, otherwise park with consideration on the road.

If you would like to eat at the pub after the walk, please, contact the walk leader, by Monday, 6th May. Publican has suggested we pre-order the food, to enable shorter wait time. (Menu will be emailed to you in April, please, ‘phone / text your order to the walk leader by the date indicated.

Returning past the ruins of St Peters Church. Some road walking at the beginning and end. Parts will be muddy. Park in the High St. or if intending to use the pub afterwards, at the Greyhound. Mainly good paths although it can be muddy in the wooded areas if it has been raining, Walk contains no stiles and a drink at the Elwes Arms after the walk might be nice (parking not pre-arranged). This lovely circular walk is full of contrast going as it does through meadows and woodland with beautiful views over the gentle Northamptonshire countryside; visiting some pretty villages, Everdon, Fawsley, Badby, Newnham and Little Everdon. There is one steep hill to be negotiated and several stiles. Refreshments available in The Plough Inn after the walk. Please make your own arrangements for lunch. Please park considerately along the village roadside.

A pleasant evening walk to Great Doddington Mill along the river Nene taking in the views and wild life along the way, turning around at Great Doddington mill and retracing our steps back to the car park. After crossing a disused airfield we walk through woodland and past the Harrington Aviation museum before returning across fields to the Brampton valley way and back to Maidwell. Then along a lane to Whiston via the ford. We will then join the Nene Way at Whiston Locks, and follow it along the river back to Cogenhoe.

Morning Walk: Meet at 10 am at "Poddington By Cherry Lane", aka Poddington Garden Centre, High Street, Poddington, NN29 7HS. The walk will take in Sharnbrook Tunnel and Wymington Nature Reserve including 4 styles. Including tracks and field margins and crossing of a field with the potential for mud. The walk is mainly flat however please note, there are 2 short, but steep hills and declines, 1 of which walkers can choose to avoid. There are also steps crossing over the railway line.

The management have kindly given permission for us to park in the furthest part of the car park away from the entrance. There will be an opportunity after the walk to take refreshment in the cafe, and enjoy the garden centre itself.

Drive through the main gates “shared with the big house Keeper’s Lodge”, follow the tarmac road for a few hundred yards, past high wall around house, through an open double gate to the car park. The walk will follow the path around the reservoir, mainly on flat ground with grassy clumps and gentle slopes. Walk may contain plenty of birds. Toilets available at clubhouse where seating is available.

carpark of The Swan down to Brampton Valley Way. From there we will make our way along Brampton Valley Way and then up into Hanging Houghton. Crossing the A508 towards Scaldwell, over fields, back via the rear of Lamport Hall, Lamport and then back to The Swan. There are 7 stiles and the walk from Brampton Valley Way to Hanging Houghton although on tarmac is a long uphill climb. The Swan will allow parking if staying for lunch, please park with consideration if you are not parking at The Swan. It is advisable to book if staying for lunch.

Following a beautiful stretch of the River Nene to Whiston Church Combe Hill, with fantastic views. There are a few hills, especially a steep path to Whiston Church and several stiles.
